OVERVIEW

Connecting rural territories in the South

The 454-locality electrification program deploys medium-voltage transmission lines and low-voltage distribution networks to rural areas previously without electricity access, across southern Chad and border zones.

ENERSO led the entire project, from impact assessment and preliminary engineering to the construction of transformer substations and regional power lines, working closely with local authorities.

THE ENERSO RESPONSE

A phased rollout coordinated with communities

ENERSO structured the program into successive regional phases, combining medium-voltage lines for interconnection with low-voltage networks for final distribution, with a smart metering system to optimize commercial grid management from commissioning.
